| He won the Super Reader Award. |
Caleb finished kindergarten this last week, which means I've got six weeks until I need to pack daily lunches and say goodbye to my little boy for seven hours a day. Given the way the child eats, there's a good possibility that he will starve before the end of the school year if no one reminds him to take a bite every five minutes (yes: it can take him upwards of an hour to eat a sandwich).
On the bright side, school has been a great experience for all of us this year. Caleb's teacher is fantastic, and between singing a solo in front of the school, winning a bike for reading, making a billion new friends, and getting to have that blessed recess four days a week, he's really grown up a lot. He's capable, independent, willing to try new things, and kind. Yay for a sweet kid.
