A day in the life of CC

Perfect!

This morning, I laid out some clothes to put on Cecily after she'd finished her breakfast. She insisted on putting them on herself.

Later in the day, cousins Owen and Jack Jack came over. Ga Gack, being a baby, is a big deal to my little C. She wanted to feed him his bottle, hold him all on her own, sit with him in the bumbo, name each of his body parts, sleep with him during his nap, make sure he had enough toys to play with (at five months, he's not quite close to being interested in toys), and so on. Such a big, uh, help.

When I got her up from her nap, she'd stuffed her little dog down her onesie (not having pockets is such a hindrance).

I came upstairs after moving some laundry to find her on the kitchen counter, removing dishes from the cabinets. Cheerfully.
