We were having a discussion on Sunday about being kind to our family after spending the day playing outside with friends (ah, summer). Paul said something about family being our most important friends, and Caleb came back with this:

"Actually, Daddy, my most important friend is--" (and here there came a pause during which I tried to imagine which of his friends he would mention as his most important) "Jesus."

Well, yes.
