Two months old--and that's a 0-3 month onesie! |
Having a child who is happy to eat has taken some serious getting-used-to. I dreaded breastfeeding for the last six months of this pregnancy because it was so awful with Caleb for so long. It's been so wonderful not to have to take the baby in every two days for weight checks and bilirubin tests and not to have to wake her up to feed her. Amazing.
And then she's always so happy to see me (or anyone, for that matter).

Delighted by her cousin. |
*Before I left for the doctor's office, I bet Paul that she weighed 17 pounds. It's a good thing, I guess, that Paul is morally opposed even to lame bets like "I'll bet you a milkshake the baby weighs 17 pounds," because I would've lost.
Oh, she is so beautiful...

ReplyDeleteI think the Wheeler side is beating the Huff side, genetically speaking...that girl's smile is all Mama Wheeler.
ReplyDeleteShe is so beautiful! :) I really need to come to your house and visit you. I can't wait to see her in person. Who wouldn't want to be greeted by that sweet smile?
