The especially sad aftermath at about 6 weeks old of a particularly trying blowout/bath combo.
Caleb "showing [me] some respect" before Christmas. This involved him deciding to "do the dishes," which consisted of him removing the clean dishes from the dishwasher and then "washing" them with the sponge and leaving them on the counter to dry. Notice them lined up on the counter there, behind the box of Christmas salsas.
Happy! And some good nostril flaring!
I have no idea what to say about this--except that it's kind of life as usual around here.
Beauty sleep.
The beauty sleep paid off.
The most efficient way for Caleb to eat The Best Birthday Cake Ever (where "eating" actually means "licking off the frosting and throwing the cake away") (which is sort of offensive because it was seriously good cake).
No! This isn't posed at all! This is a completely natural snapshot of how Paul, Caleb, and Cecily spend much of their time!

Is it wrong to think that you have given birth to the most beautiful baby alive?
This hall has seen an increase in occupation of about 300% since Heidi and Zach gave Caleb that fancy light saber for his birthday. It's one of the few places in our house that is easily made dark during daylight hours.
Again, cutest baby ever. On my couch. Wearing a blue shirt with puffed sleeves. Looking sideways.
"Mama! I can't believe I found the tiniest rock ever! Can I keep it?"
How he looked when he came home from preschool yesterday (minus the chocolate pudding mouth). What does he do there? Why do I feel a certain pity for his teacher?
Yours is the cutest family. I really needed a pick me up and your pictures were just the thing. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCecily on the couch made my heart flip flop just a little bit.
ReplyDeleteYes, Cecily IS the most beautiful baby alive! Wonderful photos, they sure put a smile on my face for the day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting!

The beauty sleep picture is to die for. I hope you frame it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's wrong to think that your baby is the most beautiful, it's just normal :) Cecily is ADORABLE!
